Description
Students will learn postures and yoga principles for overall well being. Specific instruction will be given for maintaining flexibility and strength in the spine; all the joints; interconnecting dynamic and isometric movements.
-Yoga is non-judgmental and non competitive.
- Bring your own mat
-The studio is open 30 minutes before class time to allow time to settle in, warm up, or meditate.
- Please arrive on time
-Enter quietly so we can begin together with focused attention.
Going deeper: Exploring the Inner Life of Yoga through breath, posture and meditation.
The added benefit is peace and health. Experience release of physical restrictions of breathing, tightness around ribs, diaphragm, throat, and spine. Experience movement of the body into and out of postures with attention to alignment, increasing flexibility, strength and integration of joints action. Sustain postures for strength and concentration. Learn meditation techniques for mind body spirit. Be present moment to moment where we live and have our being.
