The focus in this class is a community setting with a personal emphasis. Any exercises in the class can be used to bolster your own practice if you would like to develop one for any number of needs including sleep hygiene for preparation to sleep and waking up in the morning, emotional regulation, processing of heavy experiences, connection with the relationship with yourself and your body, and general engagement with the para-sympathetic nervous system for self-soothing. In short, there will be a little yoga, a little qigong and tai chi, and a bunch of breathing. It's all for your sense of peace and wellbeing so we'll move slowly and intentionally. Feel free to take what you like and leave the rest. I look forward to seeing you next week!
