Description

Come join a playful cross-disciplinary movement class series to develop your mobility, body based strength, spatial and kinetic sensitivity, coordination, and much more through a weekly class that includes warm up, skill development, play/experimentation, and cool down. This class is about learning how to explore the edges of your movement practice - to learn how to simply ... move well. As a progressive course, you'll be led week by week to learn how to feel comfortable on your hands, upside down, crawling, rolling, sliding, diving ... how to give and receive weight with partners and how that translates to how we move in space, you'll learn coordination, how to effectively transfer weight, stay grounded, and much more. There will be influences from calisthenics, martial arts, soft acrobatics, handstand training, and dance! If you have been looking for a fun practice that almost tricks you into becoming a more capable mover, come join us!

First class is a trial - let me know when you join! We train Scandinavian Yoga and Meditation School (room 5), and sometimes outside at Kings Garden nearby. You will be notified via email if anything changes.
