Gabriella Metrucci
Gabriella Metrucci (Gabry) is a dedicated yoga practitioner and teacher, committed to offering yoga as an accessible and transformative experience. Her teaching is rooted in Hatha Yoga, with a strong influence from Iyengar Yoga, shaping a refined attention to alignment, quality of movement, and the subtle awareness of breath. She integrates simple pranayama techniques to support presence and deepen each practice. In 2024, she spent several months in India deepening her studies with esteemed and inspiring teachers—an experience that enriched her understanding and strengthened her commitment to the path of yoga. With a background in psychology, Gabry brings a thoughtful and sensitive approach to holding space, creating classes that are inclusive, attentive, and responsive to each individual. She offers a welcoming and non-judgmental environment where students are invited to cultivate self-awareness, presence, and a compassionate connection with themselves and the world around them. Her approach encourages a deep sense of embodiment—an invitation to listen inwardly, understand the language of the body, and explore one’s capacities and limits with awareness, respect, and care. Each student is supported in building a safe and steady foundation, moving at their own rhythm. She is grateful to share this path through teaching, while continuing to learn alongside students and fellow practitioners in Lisbon, including at Sukharma Yoga Studio
