I love to empower and spark curiosity through powerful yoga where creativity meets resilience meets embodiment. As a stress coach and IFS therapist, I believe that sometimes what we need to de-stress is to actually work the body. To move it, explore it, and move through our restlessness in order to arrive on the other side: open, attuned balance. My specialty is integration. With a PhD in psychology, a former career in science, advanced vinyasa and breathwork expertise, and a private practice as a burnout and stress coach and IFS therapist, I bring you “holistic” in a science-meets-embodied-practice way. I will meet you where you’re at, because when it comes to healing, there is no one-size-fits-all method to heal. Tuning in to what you need is what I do best.

Description

In this class we combine breathwork with IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapy. IFS is a meditation style form of therapy, that helps you connect with different ‘parts’ of yourself (protective parts like the inner critic, the perfectionist, or the part that just want to numb and distract you from feeling you stress). The goal is to meet these parts with curiosity instead of judgment. Breathwork supports this by physically calming the body so it feels safe to let go. Together, they tackle stress from multiple angles: mentally, emotionally, and physically.

In this class, we will adapt to your level. Please be aware that the class can include fast cyclic breathing and breath holds, which are not suitable or need to be done with caution if: you are pregnant ,have heart, lung, neurological, or severe mental health conditions, including epilepsy, high blood pressure, glaucoma, recent surgery, or a history of psychosis or mania. If you have any medical concerns or past trauma that may be destabilized by strong somatic work, please practice gently and check in with your teacher before class.
