I love to empower and spark curiosity through powerful yoga where creativity meets resilience meets embodiment. As a stress coach and IFS therapist, I believe that sometimes what we need to de-stress is to actually work the body. To move it, explore it, and move through our restlessness in order to arrive on the other side: open, attuned balance. My specialty is integration. With a PhD in psychology, a former career in science, advanced vinyasa and breathwork expertise, and a private practice as a burnout and stress coach and IFS therapist, I bring you “holistic” in a science-meets-embodied-practice way. I will meet you where you’re at, because when it comes to healing, there is no one-size-fits-all method to heal. Tuning in to what you need is what I do best.

Description

Strong Power Flow - In this vinyasa yoga based flow, you will get challenged! From dynamic breathwork to dynamic movement patterns, power drills, and complex postures: in this class, you will get to know your body. Expect sweat, fun, surprises, personal stories, intimate connection, falling on your face, and laughing while learning new stuff.

Vinyasa in general is a dynamic, pose by pose, breath by breath style of yoga that requires some experience with the basic yoga postures.

A year of experience in slower vinyasa, Iyengar yoga, or ashtanga yoga is recommended before taking this class.

Do not eat more than a light meal before practicing. If you have any heart issues, please be aware that this class will increase your heart rate considerably and check with your doctor if you are cleared to exercise.

Pregnant people are not encouraged to take this class without first having had a personal yoga session with the instructor once per trimester to ensure they can move through the practice safely and are able to adjust their own practice. We encourage people to have a strong practice during pregnancy, but additional and personal guidance is absolutely necessary to keep up a strong practice for the full 9 months.
