About Swaying Tree Yoga
Swaying Tree Yoga was created to empower individuals to learn, practice and share yoga postures, movement, and simple breath work techniques that reset the mind and body to reduce anxiety and to connect to the peace within.
I come not from a background of psychology or therapy, but studied and learned these techniques out of necessity. After years of working in advertising, dealing with tight deadlines and packed NYC subways, I often (too often!) felt my stress rising and needed to find quick and effective ways to center myself to continue on to whatever the next task was with efficiency. The focus of my practice is sharing these simple anxiety reducing techniques.
What is the inspiration for my teaching? When I empower others, I feel joy :)
