Emily is an Advanced Embodied Posture Method functional RYT 500, RPYT (registered prenatal yoga teacher) and the founder and teacher at The Motherhood Collective. Emily is also a Birthing From Within childbirth mentor and Montessori Early Childhood teacher.

Postpartum Yoga + Strength:
Mondays, 10-11:15am- yoga
Wednesday, 10-10:45am- strength

Join The Motherhood Collective & the two of the ladies of Dynamic Performance and Therapy for a special edition of postpartum yoga + strength. Postpartum Yoga + Strength honors and celebrates the differences in your body and the incredible work it has done and continues to do. Postpartum Yoga + Strength classes focus on honoring the birth and pregnancy journey, in addition to healing key areas of the body that undergo a lot during pregnancy and birth (core, pelvic floor, hips, & glutes and back, neck & shoulders). These classes also focus on supporting and healing collectively from the demands of birth and parenthood.

Emily Sustar, registered prenatal / postpartum yoga teacher, will lead the yoga portion of this series focused on breath for healing, stretching, supporting the mind and body, & strengthening key areas of the body in the postpartum period.

Emily Sturomski, certified personal trainer, will lead the strength portion of this series offering movement specific to reconnect with your core and progressively building functional strength to keep up with the demands of motherhood.

Dr Marci Skemp, pelvic health PT, will join us in offering information to support the healing of the pelvic floor and core in the postpartum period and in life!
