Join career coach and gender studies expert, Dr. Jodi Vandenberg-Daves for a power hour of strategies to help smooth your transition back to work after your baby comes. We'll put any anxiety you may have into perspective. Hint: our society could do a lot more to support new mothers and babies in all their transitions, especially this one! More about Jodi :
Jodi Vandenberg-Daves is a coach, consultant, writer, and former professor and department chair at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, in the Dept. of Race, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Her career coaching and consulting work builds deep experience in higher education, non-profit leadership, authorship, teaching, and mentoring. Jodi brings research-based and real-world applicable strategies to women of diverse backgrounds who want to take ownership of their career journeys. She also helps organizations build a more diverse leadership pipeline, create cultures of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and value the work of caregivers and all those doing the work of emotional labor and social transformation. Jodi is the author of Modern Motherhood: An American History (Rutgers University Press, 2014) and a book of poems: Poems in the Mother Tongue. She is currently finishing a book on women bringing their values to work at every stage of career: Work That Matters: A Guide to Careering for Idealistic Women.
