Alexandra Whitbeck
Hi, I’m Alexandra — yoga teacher, founder of The Nest, and a lifelong student of movement, mindfulness, and the science of well-being. I’ve been practicing yoga for over twenty years and completed my professional teacher training here in France, alongside ongoing study in anatomy, functional movement, and evidence-based approaches to happiness and stress resilience. My many years in user experience design also shapes how I teach: clear, intentional and human-centered. My classes blend dynamic flow with functional strength, breathwork, and modern well-being research. They’re thoughtfully sequenced, creative, and grounded in an understanding of real life — including motherhood, injury, transitions, and the various seasons of being human. At The Nest, I teach with the belief that yoga is meditation in motion: a way to return to presence, reconnect with yourself, and build sustainable strength from the inside out. My goal is to offer classes that are empowering, accessible, fun, and joyful — a space where you can move with curiosity, breathe deeply, and let go of perfectionism.
