Description
*In-person classes will move online in the case of flooding or icy roads.*
A really gentle class for those seeking to relax. We'll be taking our time to unwind in seated postures to:
* release muscular tension, improving mobility and flexibility
* relax the nervous system and the body
* come back to our inner home
* still a busy mind
The beauty of Restorative yoga is that we don’t have to contract our muscles. Though we often believe we have to ‘work’ to increase our flexibility, we can, in fact, achieve more opening by softening and relaxing.
"Restorative yoga is a wonderful way of accessing deep relaxation; of understanding that sometimes doing nothing (resting in the now) can be one of the most powerful, supporting and healing practices of all."
~Esther Echart
Suitable for beginners.
