Description
Multi instrumentalist an evening to marinate in soothing sounds.
Join us for this deeply restorative experience.
Come in. Lay down.
A full body melt wrapped in soundwaves, supported with blankets, bolsters + cushions.
Sound baths may seem a bit unconventional, but they can be an incredibly beneficial wellness practice.
Instead of guided meditation, which uses speaking to guide a person through a meditative state, sound baths use music and instruments such as gongs and bowls to provide the guidance. Not only are they a great de-stressor, but they can be the perfect introduction to meditation for beginners.
The best part of a sound bath is you don't have to DO anything. It's something you allow to wash over you.
This is ok for pregnant people, people with injuries, and literally anyone.
However you feel in the moment of the sound bath - it's all natural. Some people fall asleep and some people feel very stimulated.
With these sound healing experiences, there is less of a focus on a "note" vs a frequency. The different HZ, or frequency in a sound bath can create different sensations in the body.
This is why sometimes a soundbath can be extremely calming and rest-inducing where others can create a sensation of tension where stress release is happening. Stress LEAVING the body can sometimes feel like experiencing stress. Exhale, center, and be witness to the work the sound is doing.
Join us for our next Sound Bath and Meditation.
A time for calm, grounding and still reflection in the company of connected and like minded people.
A sound bath is the opportunity to unplug from external stimuli and to gain perspective on what's going on within you.
The goal of the experience is to invite deep rest and relaxation, and explore self-inquiry and self-discovery.
