Metta ~ Qaulities of Heart

The Brahma-viharas are often translated as the dwelling places of the heart—qualities that are not something we achieve, but something we remember.

Metta, the first of these heart practices, is the cultivation of loving-kindness: a gentle yet transformative capacity to meet ourselves and others with warmth, goodwill, and care.

In this practice, we’ll weave together movement, breathwork, and meditation to explore kindness not as an idea, but as a lived experience within the body. Together we’ll soften habitual defenses, widen our perspective, and uncover the spaciousness that allows love to move more freely through our lives.

This is not a practice of becoming more worthy of love.

It is a practice of remembering that the heart already knows how.

Come as you are. Bring your tenderness, your resistance, your humanity. There is room for all of it here.
