Description
This class is suitable for those that prefer a slow-paced class, introspective and grounding for the mind and body. A great class to unwind from a busy day and to prepare for a good night’s sleep.
The class aided by props, providing comfort and support throughout the class.
Additionally, this would suit those that are new to yoga and have an open mind to experience one’s increasing body awareness. Deep stretching and breath work, releasing deep tension and increasing flexibility.
Hatha yoga can be described as ‘Hatha’ will typically involve a set of physical postures (yoga poses) and breathing techniques. These are typically practiced more slowly and with more static posture holds than a Vinyasa flow or Ashtanga class. Literally however, Hatha means ‘force’ and is more traditionally defined as ‘the yoga of force’, or ‘the means of attaining a state of yoga through force’. So Hatha yoga can be considered as anything you might do with the body, including:
asana – yoga postures (practised in any style of ‘yoga’)
pranayama – breathing techniques
Weekly Yoga pass $13.00 per class @ ten weeks.
Double Weekly pass $12.00 per class @ten weeks.
Flexi 10 pass $ 15.00 per class
Flexi 25 pass $ 14.00 per class
Casual $18.00 per class
