I have lived in West Roxbury for nearly 15 years, and I love the area as well as surrounding neighborhoods. My love for yoga began at a little studio in West Roxbury called, ‘Yoga for You’, a Bikram studio. I loved the classes, the heat, the instructors, and the community it created. Many years later after being introduced to a Vinyasa style of yoga I quickly became interested in this brand new (to me) style of yoga! My certification began as a quest to learn more about the practice as well as to one day teach it.
Description
Gentle Flow is a slow, mindful yoga class designed to help you relax, release tension, and move with ease. In this class, we connect breath with gentle movement as we flow through simple, accessible poses at a comfortable pace. Transitions are smooth and unhurried, allowing time to settle into each posture and listen to your body.
The practice focuses on improving flexibility, mobility, and balance while creating a calm and supportive atmosphere. Modifications and options are offered throughout the class, making it suitable for beginners as well as anyone looking for a softer, more restorative style of movement.
Expect slow flows, gentle stretching, and a peaceful closing relaxation to leave you feeling refreshed, grounded, and restored.
