Yoga has been a steady support in my life since graduating college in the late 90s. I began my journey with more athletic forms of yoga, including Bikram and heated Vinyasa. Over time, as I moved through different stages of life, from pregnancy to being a new mom and now into midlife, my practice has naturally shifted and evolved to include more restorative practices. My teaching emphasizes mental and emotional balance as much as bringing physical comfort to your body. When I am not teaching, I work one on one with clients in my private yoga therapy practice in J.P. My love for learning has led me to many certifications over the past 20 years, including a 200-hour YTT from YogaSpirit Studios in 2005, 500-hour YTT from Barbara Benagh, and a 600-hour Yoga Therapy certification from Phoenix Rising in 2020. Additional certifications include Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapy Training, Thai Yoga Massage, Restorative Yoga Teacher Training, The Art of Assists, Yoga for Anxiety and Depression, and Reiki Level 1.

Curious about what to expect from our *Empowered Pregnancy: Childbirth Education with Mindful Movement* series? Join us for an open Q&A session to learn more about this supportive 4-week experience designed for expecting parents in their 2nd and 3rd trimester.

Co-taught by certified childbirth educator Kylie Van Buren and certified prenatal yoga teacher Beth Grannan, the series combines evidence-based childbirth education with prenatal yoga, relaxation practices, partner support techniques, and meaningful community connection. During this Q&A, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions about the class format, topics covered, movement practices, partner involvement, and how the series can help you prepare for labor, birth, postpartum, and early parenthood with greater confidence and support.

Whether you’re newly expecting or beginning to plan for birth, this is a welcoming opportunity to connect, gather information, and see if the series is the right fit for you. Held at Tree Yoga Studio in an inclusive and nurturing small-group environment.
