Description
Yin Yoga in contrast to Yang Yoga the more active practice, is a slower-paced style of yoga in which asanas are held longer for minutes. Yin Yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body – the tendons, fasciae, and ligaments – with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Yin Yoga serves as an excellent complement to other more active forms of yoga.
