Yoga for Squash Players – Strength, Mobility & Mental Control

Squash is as much mental as physical. This performance-focused yoga class is designed specifically for squash players to improve range of movement, strengthen key stabilising muscles, and develop the breath control and mental focus needed during long, high-pressure rallies.
Through dynamic mobility work, rotational strength training, and guided breathing techniques, you’ll move more efficiently, recover faster between points, and build the calm, controlled mindset that keeps performance consistent under fatigue.
Move better, think clearer, and stay on court longer.

Beginner-Friendly: It is more than suitable for beginners due to its accessible pace and focus on alignment. No previous yoga experience or the ability to touch your toes needed!

Benefits (include but not limited to!)
Physical: Increases flexibility, strength, and balance. Yoga is not about being flexible its about strengthening your weak areas, open the tight areas - to physically (and mentally) balance the body. Added bonus is you are far less prone to injuries!
Mental: Reduces stress, promotes relaxation, and fosters mindfulness. The saying 'mind over matter' especially in competitive sports is 100% spot on. Find the strength and balance in the mind and your body and performance will follow!

Please bring a mat, wear clothes you can move easily in and bare in mind you may sweat - so a small towel advisable. We practice barefoot or with 'grip' socks.
