Coming Back Home - Connecting Head to Hips

As we move through these golden days, Summer asks us to expand, to stretch with and towards the light. Now we enter Cancer, ruled by the Moon, this offers us a beautifully blended balance. Cancer invites us inward, to soften, feel, and nourish. Together, the Sun and the Moon create a powerful invitation: to bloom outward while staying rooted within.
Cancer’s energy is deeply feminine, nurturing, and protective, the Mother of the Zodiac. Cancer is represented by the Crab who carries her home with her wherever she goes. We are being reminded that feeling at home begins with how we hold ourselves: with compassion, care, and presence.
What does “home” feel like inside of you?
The recent Cancer New Moon (on Wednesday) brings a reminder:
Embrace the ebb and flow.
Let softness be your strength.
Let stillness be your clarity.
Let nourishment, true, soulful nourishment be your guide.
These longer days are a gift. Not just to do more, but to be more with ourselves.
To slow down. To tend to what’s stirring beneath the surface.
To honour the shifts we’re experiencing because let’s be honest, this year has brought about big change for many of us.
Whether it’s external transitions or internal realignments, you’re not alone if you’re feeling like things are moving quickly or unraveling in unexpected ways.
So if you’ve been moving fast, take this as your reminder to soften.
To come home to yourself.
To let the light in, but also to rest in the quiet.
To trust the changes, and nourish the one who’s moving through them
