Nice Polido
Nice Polido has been practicing and teaching yoga since the early 1990s. Throughout her journey, she has explored a variety of yoga traditions, including Hatha, Iyengar, and Kripalu Yoga.
In 1995, she began studying Innerbody Yoga with Angela Farmer and Victor van Kooten. After completing more than 500 hours of training with these renowned teachers, their approach became her primary source of inspiration and deeply influenced her teaching for many years.
In 2019, Nice discovered Kaiut Yoga, a method focused on improving joint mobility and promoting long-term physical well-being, regardless of age, flexibility, or physical condition.
In 2020, she attended a 200-hour Kaiut Yoga training program in California. Although she was unable to complete the full certification due to the global pandemic and its associated restrictions and cancellations, she remained dedicated to her personal practice and continued studying the method independently.
Today, she is resuming her formal Kaiut Yoga training, approaching it with renewed enthusiasm and commitment. Her ongoing dedication to the study and practice of this method allows her to offer her students an even deeper understanding of movement, mobility, and lasting physical health.
Description
These classes are designed to help you improve joint mobility, reduce unnecessary tension, and create a healthier relationship with your body—regardless of your age, flexibility, fitness level, or previous yoga experience.
The practice is accessible, adaptable, and focused on what your body needs rather than what it can perform. There is no pressure to achieve specific poses or keep up with others. Instead, you are encouraged to work at your own pace, exploring movement with attention, patience and curiosity.
Through carefully structured postures and clear guidance, you will learn how to access areas of restriction, stimulate joint health, and support the body’s natural capacity to adapt and recover.
The goal is not to stretch more or work harder, but to create lasting change by improving the quality of movement and restoring options where limitation and discomfort may exist.
With consistent practice, students often experience greater mobility, increased comfort in daily activities, and a deeper sense of autonomy in their bodies. If you are looking for a practice that meets you where you are and supports long-term well-being, this may be the right place to begin.
