Megan Reed
Megan has had a passion for movement and expression with the body from an early age. With a previous dedication to gymnastics, she found herself searching for a more practical physical activity to enjoy regularly. What she discovered through yoga is much more than a way to stay fit. Today Megan lives yoga on and off the mat. This means it is more than a physical practice - it's a mind, body, and soul connection that when balanced leads to our inner truth. Megan believes yoga can help us come alive, tap into the best versions of ourselves, and live authentically from our hearts. Her nurturing demeanor and melodic energy cultivates a relaxing and fun-loving environment where students are invited to explore in their bodies, fine-tune, and release stress & tension. Her draw towards energy healing also plays a big component in the way she teaches to move the energy & let go of tough emotions.
Megan teaches to all-levels honoring strength, flexibility, balance, and surrender that pushes the limits while engaging the soul.
Megan is a 200-RYT from 21st Century Yoga on the Mat studying with Alex Pfeiffer at The Studio in Madison, WI. She has many hours of continuing education with a focus on energy healing.

Audrey Drake
Audrey began her yoga journey in 2003, encouraged by her triathlon coach to incorporate it into her training. At first, she viewed yoga purely as a physical workout—but over time, as her practice deepened and she began training to teach, her time on the mat evolved into a meaningful "work-in."
Since becoming a certified teacher in 2017, Audrey has found great joy in both teaching and being a lifelong student of yoga. She is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, with 150 of those hours dedicated specifically to Trauma Awareness and Sensitivity. Her passion for understanding the roots of yoga led her to India, where she immersed herself in its rich history and traditions.
Audrey believes that every time we step onto the mat—even in stillness—we open the door to self-discovery and growth. She encourages students to carry these lessons into their daily lives, embodying yoga beyond the mat.
Description
Slow down and reconnect with your inner stillness in this deeply restorative class that blends the long-held, meditative stretches of Yin Yoga with the guided relaxation of Yoga Nidra. Ground & Restore is designed to release physical tension, calm the nervous system, and support emotional balance. Taught by our Trauma-Informed instructor Audrey, the class will begin with Yin postures targeting the deep connective tissues, helping to increase flexibility and circulation while inviting introspection. The class concludes with Yoga Nidra, a form of yogic sleep that promotes deep rest and mental clarity. This practice is ideal for all levels, especially those seeking stress relief, gentle movement, and profound relaxation.

Julian McCown-Berndt
Julian has been a movement enthusiast all his life. With an earlier background in choreographed dance, he discovered ecstatic dance in 2018 as a way to reconnect with his passion for movement with music in a communal context outside of performance or nightlife. He has remained a practitioner of ecstatic dance ever since and has found the practice to be uniquely transformative for him. Julian believes intuitive dance in community, with intention, and without judgement can be a powerful method for self-discovery and emotional processing. He facilitates the mutual creation of a safe dance space where everyone is welcome to move through whatever they may be experiencing and participate in the joy of dance together.
Julian is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Counseling degree at University of Wisconsin, Whitewater.
Description
Our Ecstatic Dance sessions will be on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:45-7:45pm. This is a donation based class, with a suggested donation of $5 or more. You will receive an email right after class where you can click the link to donate or we take donations in cash or check in-person.
Ecstatic Dance is a freeform, movement practice where there are no steps to follow and no right or wrong way to move. Guided by music, the experience becomes a moving meditation—helping you release stress, awaken creativity, and deepen the mind-body connection, fostering a deeper connection to one's inner self. It is a safe, sacred space where participants are free to express themselves authentically without fear of being watched or judged. In this safe, sober, and non-judgmental space, you’re invited to explore authentic self-expression and connect with community through the shared joy of dance. Conversations are discouraged while dancing to maintain focus on the internal journey and the music. All are welcome; no dance experience needed.

Marilyn Troyan
Marilyn discovered Kundalini Yoga early in the winter of 2011 when the snow was flying. It was the time of year when things can get stale and monotonous. She was looking for something new and compelling to capture her attention. After participating in a few classes, she felt called to explore Kundalini Yoga more deeply. The kriyas (exercise sets) offered tried-and-true combinations of movement, mantra, mudra, breathwork, and meditation that spoke to her soul. The deep relaxation period with the gong included in every class helped to pry away residual tension and cultivate a sense of peace. Over time, the community of people she connected with through Kundalini Yoga became her family.
What Marilyn loves about Kundalini Yoga is that it’s for every type of body, every fitness level, every stage of life. Its effects can often be felt immediately. Her classes encourage students to build a sanctuary for their body, mind and spirit. Students are given the tools to create an experience and develop awareness.
One of Marilyn’s favorite aspects of teaching Kundalini Yoga is hearing that someone’s practice has helped them feel more relaxed and ready for whatever comes next. Better yet is the knowledge that the life-enhancing techniques learned in class carry over into daily life and beyond.

Karen O'Donnell
I discovered yoga after the birth of my first child, when my body and spirit were yearning for deep rest, renewal, and connection. What began as a practice of recovery soon became a way of life. Years later, I completed my 200 HR YTT certification with Jessica and Al Noche of Kramas Yoga, inspired to share the gifts yoga had given me.
In my classes, I aim to create an inclusive space where students feel both grounded and uplifted — a place to explore strength, softness, and stillness. My teaching emphasizes mindful movement, breath awareness, and the importance of community, so each practice becomes not just a workout, but a journey inward and a chance to connect outward.
Above all, I hope to help others find what I found through yoga: rest, resilience, and a sense of belonging.

Jodi Sondel
Jodi’s journey with yoga began as a path to healing. After sustaining a knee injury in high school, she turned to yoga for physical recovery—yet what started as rehabilitation soon evolved into a lifelong passion. Over the years, Jodi has developed a deep appreciation for the way yoga nurtures not only the body, but also the mind and spirit.
In her classes, Jodi creates a grounded, supportive, and inclusive environment where students of all levels feel welcome. She encourages students to tune into their bodies with curiosity and compassion, meet themselves with honesty, and use breath and movement as tools to build both ease and resilience.
Drawing from her personal experience and continued study, Jodi’s teaching emphasizes mindful alignment, embodied awareness, and the power of slowing down. Her intention is to help each student feel more connected—both on and off the mat.
