In 2016, Anna Maria completed her first 500hr hatha yoga training and began her teaching journey in Seattle, Washington. Since then she has been certified in vinyasa sequencing, Rasa Yoga, Yin, and Restorative. To Anna Maria yoga is a cyclical practice of coming back to our hearts and remembering we are all connected. Anna is inspired by mantra, the magic of music and the yoga sutras. Anna Maria teaches with deep reverence for yoga. In her classes you can look forward to heartfelt intention, strong and inspired movement, and most of all, a space where you are encouraged to be free. Anna Maria is honored to walk this path beside you. She looks forward to sharing space with you soon.
Beschreibung
Relax into this slow-paced inward-focused class of hip opener and heart opener poses. Long holds in earthy poses - supported by props when needed. These sequences are designed to unravel holding patterns in the muscles around the pelvic girdle so the hips and spine can easily realign more optimally. Tightness across the upper chest and front of shoulders is released in the heart openers to allow the upper spine to integrate into the body and the heart to rise naturally. Deep breathing is encouraged throughout the class.
