Rachel Newbold has been devoted to the practice of yoga since the age of sixteen. What began as a simple curiosity has evolved into a lifelong path—one that has supported and grounded her through many seasons of life. Throughout her twenties, Rachel explored a diverse range of yoga styles, studios, and teachers while living on Maui, Hawaiʻi Island, and the mainland United States. These experiences deepened her understanding of the practice and reinforced a profound truth: wherever life leads, yoga offers a steady sense of home and connection. In 2024, Rachel completed her 200-hour Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training with Blue Mango Yoga. She now steps into the role of teacher with humility and enthusiasm, dedicated to sharing a practice that cultivates presence, resilience, and well-being. Rachel is passionate about creating a welcoming space where students can reconnect with themselves and experience the transformative benefits of yoga.

Description

Yin Yoga is a slow, deep and calming practice. Poses focus on rejuvenating connective tissue (fascia, tendons and ligaments) to enhance your range of motion and flow of energy. Poses are held longer to safely stress the connective tissues. Yin Yoga calms and balances body and mind, increases mobility and flexibility, lowers stress levels and promotes relaxation. Yin Yoga is a great complement to yang activities and will vastly improve your ability to sit for meditation.
