Description

This class begins with slow-paced rhythmic asana set to the sound of ujjayi breathing (ocean breath). Students are encouraged to journey inward as the body moves at a soothing pace. Once the body is awakened and calmed with asana, we sit for pranayama; breathing practices that super-oxygenate cells, detox lungs and focus the mind for meditation. Our breath is the most powerful accessible tool we have for healing, awakening, and growing sustainably. The mindful pace of this class allows students to build a stronger relationship with their breath to support both the movement of asana and the receptivity of meditation.
