Yin Yoga is a slow, deep and calming practice. Poses focus on rejuvenating connective tissue (fascia, tendons and ligaments) to enhance your range of motion and flow of energy. Poses are held longer to safely stress the connective tissues. Yin Yoga calms and balances body and mind, increases mobility and flexibility, lowers stress levels and promotes relaxation. Yin Yoga is a great complement to yang activities and will vastly improve your ability to sit for meditation.

Sponsored by MAMM, this by-donation class is open to all Maui Kūpuna. This class combines traditional Tai Chi and Qigong with gentle mobility, breathing, balance, posture, and body-awareness practices. Movements can be adapted for different levels of physical ability and may be practiced standing or seated.
