Oxygen Yoga & Fitness Port Coquitlam (1490 Prairie Ave), Yoga Studio
Darlene Jordan
Darlene’s love for yoga started at Vancouver Film School, where she immersed herself in acting, singing, and dancing. The curriculum included a daily yoga practice and soon it became her foundation for living a fulfilled life. Drawn to warmth and sunshine, she naturally gravitated towards teaching hot yoga, finding both comfort and challenge in the heat. In 2020, she earned her certification, blending yoga philosophy with ATG (Athletic Truth Group) principles to promote strength through length, full-range mobility, and joint longevity. Now, she’s currently working on completing her Prenatal & Post-Partum Yoga Teaching Certification and is already integrating her knowledge into her classes. With experience as an online coach and advocate for plant-based living, Darlene has contributed guides and e-books to the Plant-Based and Raw Vegan Bundles, sharing her insights on movement and nutrition. For 8 years, she managed a before-and after school daycare of 80-100 children, which has deepened her passion for leadership, child development and mindful movement from an early age. Darlene believes in Living in Alignment; where her actions, lifestyle, and choices reflect her truest self. Right now, alongside teaching yoga, her greatest focus is raising her son with these values, guiding him to discover his own strengths and passions.
