Description

Yin yoga combines ancient yogic philosophy with traditional Chinese medicine in one cohesive practice. The majority of class will be experienced on the floor (mat) using a variety of props for support. The postures (asanas) are held for an extended period of time to invite the body to surrender/relax into to pose, and to serve as a mini-meditation for the mind as you use your breath to anchor you into the present moment.
