Description
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga that focuses on deep stretching and long-held postures, that we'll hold for held for 2.5-5 minutes. Unlike more dynamic styles of yoga, which focus on muscle engagement and movement, yin yoga targets the connective tissues—such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia—as well as the joints. The practice encourages stillness and mindfulness, promoting relaxation and improving flexibility. It’s especially beneficial for releasing tension, improving joint health, and cultivating a deeper sense of calm and introspection.
