Description
A mindfully flowing yoga class with Hatha at its roots but embracing other yoga traditions including breathwork (Pranayama) and meditative moments. This complete yoga practice includes sequences of poses to build strength, stamina & stability, encourage flexibility & focus, and help find a harmonious balance of body, mind and spirit.
A blend of classic and more challenging poses, these open-level sessions include options for all, encouraging you to feel empowered to move in a nourishing way for your own body. The variety of slow flows, more dynamic postures and pauses are matched to the seasons and the flow of the world around us, and will leave you feeling physically rejuvenated, emotionally inspired and mentally calm and serene. Each class is unique, with varying themes from yoga philosophy and will provide both solace and challenge relevant to daily life and your continuing yoga journey.
The steady pace of the class allows the physical poses and body systems to be explored thoughtfully, with alignment and options that work personally for your individual body and level of experience. Over time, a full range of energy is covered from effort to relaxation, a better understanding of the relationship between body and mind is created, and a sense of well-being is attained, not only in class but with practical tools provided for everyday life to help unwind and find serenity & harmony there too.
