Ashtanga Mondays Online
22 March 2021 •
11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Natalie Forrester
Description
Time: 11am GMT
Class duration: 60 mins
We will work on fitness with a strong series of Sun Salutations (A & B), building strength and endurance as we flow through the standing series. Then we shall work on our flexibility with backbends, forward folds and twists, closing off our practice with a carefully curated closing series and a well-earned Savasana.
All levels welcome!
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a style of yoga as exercise created by K. Pattabhi Jois during the 20th century, often promoted as a modern-day form of classical Indian yoga. It is a highly structured vinyasa-style class, the style is energetic, synchronizing breath with movements.
The Zoom link will be sent to you via email 30 minutes before class.
Set up:
Your Zoom Yoga Room will be open 10 minutes before class for you to set up your mat and position your laptop, phone or iPad in the direction of your mat. Many yogis heat their room before class but this is totally optional.
Props:
No essential props needed but you may find blocks and straps beneficial, also blankets and cushions are great for relaxing in Savasana.
See you on your mat!
Namaste,
Nat.
