General terms of Yoga Lily

Cancellation Policy

We understand things happen and sometimes plans change. We aim to accommodate these changes as best we can by setting out fair and reasonable terms for booking and cancelling our classes, courses, events – allowing customers time to change their mind, while ensuring an event is still viable to go ahead.

We make our cancellation and refund policy transparent – ensuring it’s available before booking, at the time of booking and also on your receipt confirmation – so you can make an informed decision. Please take time to read this carefully. All clients are asked to agree to Yoga Lily's terms and conditions upon booking a course or workshop.

In the event of Yoga Lily cancelling an event:
you will receive a full refund for the price of your booking only, or the option of being transferred to another workshop or a credit to your Yoga Lily account. In the event a teacher is taken ill, every attempt will be made to find a replacement teacher.

In the event a customer cancels their place,
provided you have notified us within the cancellation window (see below), you can receive a refund (less deposit or admin fee), or the option of being transferred to another workshop or a credit to your Yoga Lily account

We regret no refund or transfer can be given outside of these terms, including if you are unable to attend due to illness, injury, work/family changes, pregnancy or other reasons. Before committing to a course or event, please ensure you can attend the scheduled number of sessions to get the most out of the programme. This cancellation policy is firm. If you are concerned about the possibility of needing to cancel your event, we highly recommend taking out cancellation insurance.

Terms & Conditions

Our booking policy:
Once you’ve registered with us, all classes are available as drop-in or to be pre-booked – except courses and workshops where pre-booking is mandatory. If prebooking, please arrive 5-10 minutes early to find a space, prepare yourself and notify your teacher of any injuries/operations/pregnancy. If arriving less than 5 minutes before class, your space will be offered to a waiting drop-in student and you will still be charged.

Memberships and Class Passes are a great way to buy classes at a discounted rate, available to those who have committed to a semi-regular practice. These cannot be extended, refunded or transferred, so before committing to a discounted payment option, we recommend that you plan for and attend the paid number of sessions to get the most out of the discounted offer. Please bare in mind any studio closure dates when considering your purchase.

Spaces on our courses and workshops are limited and therefore must be pre-booked and pre-paid. Spaces are confirmed upon payment. Before committing to a course or workshop, please ensure you can attend the scheduled number of sessions to get the most out of the programme. We cannot offer refunds or rollovers for students who are unable to attend some or all of the classes on their course due to illness, work, family or other reasons. Thank you for your understanding.

Pre-booking weekly classes:
Online bookings can be made between 7 days and up to 1 hour before the class begins. Bookings can be made via the Web or App only.

To book online you must have a valid membership or class pass.
Class bookings can be cancelled up to 1 hours before class starts without being charged.
Cancellations can only be made online; reception will not be able to make any cancellations to bookings made online.

Early cancellations: cancelled more than 2 hours before the class, then the class will be credited back to your account. The place will be offered to a drop-in or waitlisted student

Late cancellations: cancelled less than 2 hours before the class is not refundable.
Clients who have booked online are still required to sign-in at reception at least 5 minutes before the class starts. If they arrive less than 5 minutes before the class begins, their place will be opened up to a drop-in client – your class will not be credited or refunded.

For Monthly Members booking online and do not show up to a class 3 times, the option to book online will automatically be suspended for 1 month.

Yoga Lily reserves the right to remove the option to book online from any clients who misuse the service.

Important information:
Yoga is very safe and all of our teachers are fully trained and insured to provide the best and safest teaching. We do ask that you take responsibility for your own health and care. Please listen to your body and respect it. Your ability may vary from session to session depending on your state of well-being, fitness, tiredness and/or stress levels. Work in a way that feels right for you on any given day. Pain is the body’s warning system and should not be ignored.

Please advise us before commencing any session if, for any reason, your health or your ability to exercise changes (i.e. pregnancy, muscle soreness, joint pain, pulled muscles, minor injuries etc). Please inform your teacher immediately if you feel any discomfort during a session. Please also inform the teacher if you felt any discomfort after a previous session.

If you feel unwell (head cold, dizziness, sickness etc) it would be prudent not to attend class. This is primarily for your safety and well-being (your powers of concentration and performance levels may be below par and however slight, there is an increased risk of injury) and also in consideration for the comfort, well-being and health of other members in the class.

As with all forms of physical exercise, it is prudent to consult your doctor before starting. The sessions are not a substitute for medical counselling or treatment. If you have any doubts about the suitability of Yoga, you should refer back to your medical practitioner.

If you’re new to Yoga, it is not advisable to do Yoga between weeks during the first trimester of pregnancy, unless by special arrangement with your teacher. It is also wise to wait six weeks after the birth before resuming exercise.

The teacher can accept no liability for personal injury related to participation in a session if:

your doctor has, on health grounds, advised you against such exercise.
you fail to observe instructions on safety or technique.
such injury is caused by the negligence of another participant in the class/studio.
It is advisable to drink water during and after sessions to re-hydrate the body and to help flush out toxins that may have been released by your body as a result of the exercise programme. Increasing your water intake (6-8 large glasses per day) will also help to promote and improve your general health and well-being.

I understand that Yoga involves hands-on (tactile) correction and I hereby consent for my teacher to work in this way.

If between the age of 12 – 16 you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Any photography or video taken may be used for marketing purposes.

By completing this form, I confirm that I have read and understood the above advice and that the information I have provided is correct.
