I began teaching yoga in 2011 after completing my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Joyful Yoga in Bonita Springs, FL. My passion for anatomy and understanding how the body moves guided me towards an additional 300 hour training with Jason Crandell.
My teaching style is light hearted and fun while providing you with an understanding of your own body and its movements.
In this space we can begin to peel back the layers to find our true Self.
I do my best in classes to provide modifications and amplifications for varying levels of fitness so you can grow and explore on your yoga journey. See you on the mat!

Join Carly for a fun and gentle introduction to the basics of yoga.
The first 30 mins will cover
* A brief background on the practice of yoga— its philosophy and benefits
* Simple breathing exercises, bringing awareness to the mind and body, linking breath with movement
* Explanation of props and their uses
Followed by a 75 min yoga class that will cover
* Basic yoga poses common to most public yoga classes, with a focus on proper and safe alignment
* How to modify postures to work for your own unique body
Finishing up will be an opportunity for any questions you might have! Including one on one assistance with poses.
Yoga has the potential to influence every part of your being and help you to create a healthy body, calm mind and deeper connection to your intuition and true self.
This Workshop is excellent for anyone who has thought about trying yoga, but isn’t sure what to expect or new students who want to refine the basics.

*Wear comfortable loose fitting clothing you can move in. Feel free to bring water. If you do not have a yoga mat, the studio will provide one.
