Suzie Berryhill
Suzie began her yoga journey as a college student looking for an alternate PE credit. Sixteen years later, her practice is still going strong! Suzie took her RYT 200 training in 2019 at the Asheville Yoga Center. In 2023, she decided to continue her yoga education with a 300 hour yoga teacher training from Breathe for Change, a program that works on teaching yoga in k-12 schools. Suzie is glad to work locally at Smoky Mountain High School and offer yoga classes to her fellow teachers. An RYT-500, Suzie believes yoga should be accessible to all people, and that the benefits of yoga extend beyond the mat. She loves incorporating this philosophy into all of her classes. All people can practice yoga.
Times of transition can bring extra stress, and the end of the school year headed into summer is a huge transition for many people! If you are looking to reduce your stress and find inner calm as we transition into summer schedules, this class is for you! Join Suzie for a gentle flow and yin yoga class, no yoga experience required.
