Nicole Peterson Simmons
Nicole is a RYT-200 yoga instructor with over 12 years of teaching experience. She received her training in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga from Inner Sea Yoga and has since developed a teaching style that blends mindful movement with breath awareness to support deep healing and balance.
Rooted in a love for sports, the outdoors, and all things cozy, Nicole brings both grounded energy and thoughtful intention to her classes. Whether you’re new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice, she invites you to come just as you are and reconnect mind, body, and breath.
Nicole lives in Sylva with her husband—a local and basketball coach at Western Carolina—along with their son and two dogs.

Ease into your week with this grounding class designed to improve flexibility, restore balance, and release physical tension. You’ll move through a gentle sequence of stretches, mobility work, and restorative postures to support a limber, aligned body and a centered mind. This practice helps maintain functional movement, joint health, and overall equilibrium—perfect for anyone looking to stay strong, supple, and balanced. All levels welcome.
