Emily Haslam-Jones
Emily is the founder of Yoganova, the home of pragmatic tools to increase emotional regulation and connection. Her style is dubbed as 'yoga for people who don't like yoga' because techniques are fun, practical, and work effectively for busy people and those who struggle to unwind. Emily is a highly trained and experienced yoga teacher, working in this field since 2007. She has studied all over the world, combining practices that are specifically uplifting, deeply emotionally processing, fun and yet highly effective in terms of nervous system regulation. She has taught adults, children and teen in groups, schools charities and run tailored individual transformation sessions for the last 15 years, with a particular focus on emotional processing and regulation making complex theory and research accessible and understandable through experiential practice. She is also an embodied trauma therapist and therapist for parents, children and young people, using movement and polyvagal approaches. She also delivers groups, has devised workshops, training and retreats, published academic research and she trains yoga teachers, schools and businesses how to become trauma informed using self care and connection. The yoga sessions are also trauma informed and inclusive - neurodivergent,LGBTQ+ and all are welcome. If you require yoga for a specific disability then one to one sessions are also an option. Vital flow This is a kundalini inspired style yoga, stripped back to the essentials of what a movement practice can provide, with added joyfulness uplifting tunes interspersed with deep stillness. A powerful way to star the week and get on it in a more productive way whilst feeling good.
