Dave is not only my partner in all things laughter, love and life, he is a practicing Buddhist and the meditation teacher to the Yoga with Lora community. He has studied Zen in the Korean tradition while being a member of the Detroit Zen Center for the past 10+ years, through participating in many meditation retreats, and through his experiences with Dharma Teacher Training at the Detroit Zen Center. ​With his knowledge and personal experience of Zen Meditation, he shares this style of meditation with the Yoga with Lora community through the Zen Meditation 5 Week Series and at the Yoga with Lora Wellbeing Retreats.

I met Neda many years ago at the yoga studio where, during different years, we each completed our Yoga Teacher Training. We stayed connected through the local yoga and wellbeing community and when I ran a wellbeing retreat in Sedona she joined us as a participant. The time at the retreat allowed me an opportunity to get to know Neda even more and I remember thinking even then what a great fit she would be as a part of the Yoga with Lora Team. Fast forward many years and here we are! Neda has been practicing and teaching yoga for almost a decade and specializes in Vinyasa, Yin, Chakra and has recently completed her Kundalini Yoga Certification allowing her to deepen her knowledge and practice of the holistic benefits of energy flow, breath work and mantra. She has taught Yoga and Mindfulness in Windsor Essex elementary schools, to Bachelor of Education students at the University of Windsor and at various local studios and gyms. Neda teaches yoga because she believes in its power to transform and heal the body, mind and spirit. She is excited for her journey as a Yoga with Lora teacher and the opportunity to continue sharing the wonderful benefits of the practice with others.
