About Yoga with Shannon

A little bit more about me..

I am a Certified Athletic Therapist CAT(C) and Yoga Teacher. As an AT I've been blessed to work with many different sports at the college, university and professional level. I've been practicing yoga for about 12 years and in 2020 deepened my own practice by completing a 200hr Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training. Yoga has always been a way for me to connect more to my mind and body and find peace and stillness through challenging times.

When I'm not on my mat or on a sideline I love spending time in nature, cozying up with a strong coffee and good book or spending time with close friends/family trying new restaurants.

My passion for helping others through rehabilitation and yoga led me to create Yoga with Shannon Studio in January 2022. During that time the province of Ontario was experiencing another lockdown. I felt a pull to share the practice of yoga with others via Online Live Classes.

Since then, this community has grown and I'm so happy to share this practice with you! I love sharing both energizing and relaxing vinyasa flow classes, as well as many options for mobility classes. My goal is that you leave my classes full of positive energy, peace and feeling educated about your body.
