This is a postnatal mum and baby yoga class with the option of a cuppa and a chat with fellow new mums. No yoga experience is necessary
The class focusses on supporting, strengthening and rehabilitating the postnatal body, as well as connecting with your little one and other new mums.
During the class you’ll learn postnatal safe yoga postures and we'll also practice gentle, nourishing yoga breathing techniques for mum/carer. We also include pelvic floor and core connection exercises. We also do a baby yoga section with the babies too, so they are kept involved throughout the class.
The class allows Mum/carer time to take stock, move safely and breath, this is more important than ever during the postnatal period. The simple yoga breathing techniques and yoga exercises used during the class, are easily integrated into daily life and can provide relief for stress and anxiety.
This class is suitable for mums/carers (from 6 weeks postnatal, in some instances 10-12 weeks).
You’ll need a yoga mat for yourself and baby to lie on, a cushion/ yoga blocks for you to use, a drink of water and anything else that baby might need keep them entertained during the class.
The class will run face to face.
