Spring Petite Retreat - FUNDRAISER
Spring has arrived, at last, and what better way to celebrate than to carve out a bit of time for you and your own self care, all while supporting a wonderful local dramatic arts group to help make dreams come true for some of our local kids.
In October 2025, Studio One Dramatic Arts (SODA) are heading to EuroDisney with a group of their young performers, along with some of their family and friends. The children will be performing at EuroDisney, on a Disney stage. It really is a once in a lifetime opportunity and extremely exciting for everyone involved.
SODA have been fundraising like mad to help cover as much of the children’s costs as possible, as well as pay for costumes and props for the show itself. I have got involved and offered to run one of my mini yoga retreats, with all remaining profits, after hall rental cost, going directly into the EuroDisney fundraising pot.
The Petite Retreat (mini yoga retreat) will take place on Friday, 30 May from 7-8.15pm in Rutherglen United Reformed Church at a cost of £12.50 per person. The format will be slightly different to my usual retreats. The yoga retreat will be 1 hour and 15 minutes long and there will be an optional cuppa, cake and chat at the end of the session (which will be payable separately on the night at £2.50).
During the retreat we’ll ground and settle ourselves, practice yoga breathing techniques and guided meditation, gently move our bodies and most importantly relax with an extended yoga nidra (deep relaxation) practice. It’s the perfect way to switch off, recharge your batteries and take some time out just for you.

The session is suitable for anyone that would like to join and you can book via the button below (once you’ve booked in please bring cash in an envelope along to a class, once you’ve paid your place will be confirmed).
