Viresh, a dedicated yoga instructor from Karnataka, India, brings the depth and authenticity of traditional Indian yoga to Switzerland. His teaching is rooted in the same practices and values he cultivated during his years of training in India, offering students a grounded and holistic approach to yoga. Specializing in Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa, Yogalates, Hip Mobility, Pranayama, and Yoga Nidra, Viresh creates classes that balance strength, awareness, and inner calm. He is also a certified massage therapist, offering therapeutic bodywork as a complementary path to physical and emotional well-being. He moved to Switzerland in 2022 and co-founded Yogic Spirits in January 2023, a yoga space dedicated to making traditional, heart-centered yoga accessible and inclusive for all. He is also the president of YamaYoga Association. He is currently pursuing both his Master’s and PhD degree in Yoga with the Bodhi School of Yoga, continuing to deepen his knowledge and refine his practice. Beyond the mat, Viresh is a passionate and talented cook, known for his delicious Ayurvedic and yogic Indian cuisine. Through his food, stories, and teachings, he invites students to explore the deeper connections between yoga, culture, nourishment, and mindful living.

Description

This class offers a grounding and mindful exploration of traditional Hatha Yoga as taught in India, guided with care and precision. Through a steady sequence of postures (asanas), conscious breathing (pranayama), and focused awareness, we cultivate strength, balance, and clarity—both physical and mental.

The pace is intentional and accessible, allowing time to feel, align, and connect to the breath in each pose. The practice is rooted in simplicity and inner presence.

✨ During class, we may also explore core elements of the yogic path, such as:
• Pranayama and bandhas (breath and energy control)
• Postural alignment grounded in awareness
• Deep rest through yoga nidra

And after class... ☕
We gather for a cup of homemade vegan masala chaï, prepared with love — a moment to land, share, and integrate the practice together.
