Description
This small-group class (max 4 participants) is an opportunity to dive deeper into the traditional practice of Hatha Yoga, with close, personalized guidance from Viresh.
We meet in the Saraswati Room, an intimate setting designed for quiet focus and detailed attention. Viresh will tailor the class to the needs of the group and can offer support on specific postures or areas you would like to explore. You’ll benefit from hands-on adjustments, deeper variations, and a safe space to ask questions and grow at your own rhythm. One of the great perks: you can message Viresh the day before with one or two things you would like to explore — whether it is a specific yoga posture, a breathing technique (pranayama), or another aspect of yoga practice or theory — and he will thoughtfully integrate them into the class just for you.
At the end of the class, we join the larger group from the Yin Yoga session for a shared guided relaxation (sound bath) in the spacious Ganesha Room — a moment of calm integration and collective rest.
✨ This class is ideal for:
• Deepening your Hatha practice in a focused environment
• Exploring specific postures or goals with individual support
• Receiving adjustments and direct feedback
• Cultivating precision, presence, and breath awareness

Ivan 🧘🏻♂️
Ivan, a dedicated yoga instructor from Switzerland, brings a deep love for yoga philosophy and history into every aspect of his teaching. Currently pursuing studies in South Asian Studies at the University of Lausanne (UNIL)—with a focus on Sanskrit, Hindi, Buddhism, and Hinduism—he continuously enriches his understanding of the cultural and spiritual roots of yoga.
Ivan teaches a variety of styles including Yin Yoga, Yin Yang Yoga, Hip Mobility Yoga, and Yoga for Beginners (Soft Yoga). His classes are known for their mindful pacing, accessibility, and grounding energy. He is especially passionate about making yoga inclusive and approachable, offering a safe space for students of all levels to reconnect with their bodies and breath.
He regularly leads thematic Yin Yoga sessions enhanced with Sound Baths, creating immersive experiences that blend movement, stillness, and vibration. Ivan also organizes insightful workshops on yoga philosophy and history, inviting students to explore yoga beyond the physical practice and into its deeper meanings.
Description
Yin Yoga is a slow, grounding, and meditative practice that invites you to soften deeply into stillness. Poses are held passively for several minutes, mainly seated or lying down, allowing time to access the deeper layers of fascia and connective tissue.
Rather than building muscle strength or generating heat, Yin encourages the opposite: cooling, surrendering, and listening inward. With each posture, you are guided to stay connected to your breath, observe sensations, and gently release tension—both physical and emotional.
✨ What makes this class special:
In addition to the physical practice, we explore elements of yoga philosophy—such as the yamas & niyamas (ethical principles), the chakra system, and other traditional teachings—to deepen your connection with yourself and your practice on and off the mat.
🧘♀️ This class is ideal for:
• Increasing joint and fascia flexibility
• Balancing an active or stressful lifestyle
• Cultivating mindfulness and inner presence
• Supporting nervous system regulation and emotional release
• Expanding awareness through yogic wisdom
The atmosphere is calm and introspective, supported by silence or gentle music. It’s a beautiful complement to more dynamic practices and an essential part of any self-care journey.

Description
This class weaves together the complementary energies of Yin (stillness) and Yang (movement) in an alternating rhythm to create balance and harmony in body and mind.
We begin with gentle Yin postures, held for a few minutes to open connective tissue and invite introspection. From there, we move into an uplifting Yang sequence to activate strength, breath, and circulation. This wave continues—Yin, then Yang, then Yin again, then Yang—allowing you to explore contrast, flow, and integration.
Throughout the class, you will be invited to connect deeply with your breath and inner awareness. We also bring in elements of yoga philosophy, such as:
🌱 The yamas and niyamas (ethical foundations)
🌈 The chakra system (energy centers)
⚖️ Teachings on balance, presence, and wholeness
🧘♀️ This practice is ideal for:
• Exploring strength and softness
• Increasing mobility and body awareness
• Releasing physical and mental tension
• Deepening connection with traditional yogic wisdom
Open to all levels, this class offers a holistic journey through stillness and movement, effort and ease.
