Sarah came to yoga in her 20’s as a way to rehabilitate a running injury. She stayed with yoga for the many benefits, beyond the physical, that come with a consistent practice. As a school psychologist, Sarah completed her 200 hour training with Breathe 4 Change, an organization specializing in bringing wellness and yoga to educators. She furthered her training through the Indra Yoga Institute 300 hour program, focusing on Ayurveda and trauma- informed practices, with the goal of creating wellness spaces for diverse communities. Sarah has several children’s yoga certifications, as well as Silver Sneakers instructor certification, bringing the joy of yoga to all ages and abilities. Over 15 years of leading yoga classes have confirmed Sarah’s belief that the physical practice of yoga can be accessible to all bodies, movement can be fun and invoke a sense of freedom, and the practice can create space for self-compassion and resilience.
