Alignment Yoga - Ancient Wisdom for Modern Bodies
Break down anatomy and physiology, and learn a new way to approach poses for optimal alignment, steadiness & ease in YOUR unique body.
We start the class with a brief lecture / visual learning segment that sometimes involves handouts, and checking out Mr. Bones (skeletal model), and then take a little time to get grounded in our bodies before experimenting with motion and asana (yoga postures) to feel how finding healthy alignment can bring new freedom and strength to the practice.
All levels welcome, we work through progression to find the appropriate depth and choices throughout practice, and nothing is required other than continuing to breathe.
