I was initially drawn to yoga to complement my gym based fitness. Within a few classes I was hooked, drawn by not only the effect Yoga had on me physically but also emotionally and mentally. Yoga teaches you how to really listen to, and connect with, your body, your breath, and your mind. This connection is fundamental not only to my own personal practice, but also to my teaching. Drawing from the flow of Vinyasa and Hatha yoga and also the more passive and longer held postures of Yin yoga, my classes include a combination of flowing postures and held postures, to challenge the body in different ways, enabling deeper exploration of the practice and all the positive effects that Yoga brings. I hope that you will leave my classes feeling not only more flexible, stronger and invigorated, but also calmed, balanced and restored.

Description

Join Sam for an extended yin practice themed around opening up and re-emerging. As we move out into the world slowly we need to be mindful of taking our time to adjust. This class will invite you to slow down with a series of yin themed poses that softly unwind body and mind.

Before class begins you will receive a zoom link to join class from the comfort of home.
