Description
Hatha Yoga for your own healthy alignment includes an array of postures, breathing techniques and mindful energy practices to bring balance and connectedness between body and mind, focusing on detailed alignment cues and fostering deeper awareness of abdominal strength within postures, for your own journey to wellbeing.
Hatha yoga can be a starting point to developing a yoga practice and self inquiry by being introduced to yoga philosophy, yoga postures, breathwork and mindfulness.
Hatha Yoga is practiced at a slower pace, consistently revisiting the fundamentals of yoga, applying more static postures that are sequenced to align, balance and strengthen the body, to focus the mind and to promote spaciousness and flexibility of your being. This class is inspired by Iyengar Yoga.
Classes can shift though different sequences including moving the body in all directions; standing, seated and floor poses, side bends, forward and back bends, twists, inversions, core activation, restorative postures. A variety of props may be used during this class, including the wall.
