Pavanmuktasana, is a traditional practice that translates as "wind liberating practice." It is also known as the joint freeing series. You will find the practice very calming and grounding. It is designed to reduce the air element in the body, removing it from the joints (where it likes to land), which reduces Vata, and elevated Vata is responsible (generally) for feelings of anxiety and insomnia. Use this before bed or meditation, or anytime to want to tune in and feel more calm and grounded. Pronounced: (Pah-Vahn-Mook-Toss-Ah-nah)
