Supine Strengtheners

Supine (lying down) strengtheners, the first 30 minutes of the class is all on the mat. Using pilates mat work to engage/activate the core, the glutes, & hip flexors. A short standing sequence for balance to find those stabilizers we worked on the mat - a warrior three, a side body stretch and some standing forward bends. Mental focus on relaxing the nervous system, by connecting with the body and breath, leaving the mind alone.
