Description
Slow Flow is a Vinyasa-based practice that moves at a pace that gives you time to actually feel what you’re doing. Poses are held longer, transitions are unhurried, and there’s space to pay attention to alignment and breath. It’s a good entry point if you’re new to yoga, coming back after a break, or want a practice that’s physically engaging without being intense. Don’t mistake slower for easier, held poses build their own kind of strength.

Description
Vinyasa links movement to breath: each inhale and exhale drives you from one pose to the next. It’s the foundation that other Flow classes all draw from, practiced here in its most straightforward form. The sequences change from class to class, but the underlying rhythm stays consistent. A mid-intensity practice that builds strength and mobility, accessible enough for newer students, satisfying enough for experienced ones.

11:30 am - 12:45 pm
Arise Hiriketiya
Description
Traditional Hatha is a centuries old practice rooted in ancient India, close to where yoga itself began. It’s the foundation most other yoga styles have grown from, built on the basics of asana and pranayama. Unlike faster paced styles, each pose is held long enough for you to breathe into it and truly feel what your body is telling you, rather than rushing on to the next. There’s no expectation to reach some “perfect” version of a pose, since the right asana is simply whatever works for your body, and every body is different. Through the breath, you find ease within the posture, and in that ease, a natural stillness begins to settle in the mind.

Description
Yin is a slow, floor-based practice where poses are held for 3 to 5 minutes or longer. The target isn’t muscle, it’s the deeper connective tissue, the ligaments, fascia, and joints that more active practices don’t reach. The long holds create a mild, sustained stress on those tissues, which is where the benefit comes from. It’s not comfortable in the way a restorative class is. You’re not trying to relax into the pose so much as stay present with it. That’s also what makes it meditative. There’s nothing to do but breathe and wait it out. Good for flexibility and joint health, and a useful counterbalance to stronger physical practices.

Description
Yin/Yang combines two distinct practices in one class. The movement and heat of a Vinyasa Flow, and the long, still holds of Yin. It’s a complete practice on its own, and a good way in if you’re curious about either style.

Description
A set sequence of postures, practiced in the same order every time, with every movement tied to the breath. Developed by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in the 20th century, it builds through six progressive series, and most students spend a long stretch, sometimes years, in the Primary Series, which lays down the strength, flexibility, and focus the later series ask for. Our classes are led, meaning the teacher calls out the postures and breath counts and the room moves through the sequence together. The sessions weave in the teachings of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras alongside the practice, bringing in the philosophy and the eight-limbed path behind the poses. It’s a demanding practice, and that’s the point. Coming back to the same sequence day after day is where the real work happens.

The first half works with long-held poses (2-5+ minutes) targeting the connective tissue and fascia that more active practices don’t reach. The second half transitions into Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation that brings you to the edge of sleep without crossing it. The combination is deliberate. Yin opens and releases the body; Nidra takes you somewhere deeper. You’ll likely leave feeling like you’ve slept without having slept.

Kundalini works with movement, breath, sound, and stillness. Classes typically involve rhythmic, repetitive sequences paired with specific breathing techniques, mudras, mantra, and meditation. It looks different from most yoga classes, and that’s intentional. Unlike Vinyasa or Hatha, the focus isn’t on how a pose looks but on what’s happening internally. The practice works with the nervous system, energy, and awareness in ways that are hard to describe but tend to be felt clearly. It can be confronting. It can also be exactly what you needed.
