Description

Immerse yourself in the deeply restorative sound of gongs, Himalayan bowls, and therapeutic percussion in a session designed to regulate the nervous system and promote emotional balance.

Sound is more than something we hear—it is a physical vibration that moves through the body, influencing brainwave activity, heart rate, and the breath. These vibrations activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps to lower stress levels, reduce muscular tension, and promote an overall sense of well-being.

During the session, the complex overtones of the gong engage the brain’s natural rhythms, shifting it from an alert beta state into the alpha and theta states. These lower-frequency states are associated with deep relaxation, emotional processing, and self-repair, creating the conditions for mental and physical restoration.

Guided by Lorna, a qualified sound therapist and psychotherapist with over 10 years’ experience, this session provides a safe and containing space for emotional processing, deep rest and integration. The session begins with gentle breathwork to settle the system, followed by a structured sound immersion, concluding with time for reflection and integration.
