What is Yoga really? - Discussing different textual references to get more clarity on what we are doing.
Ashtanga Yoga History- the history of the Ashtanga Yoga lineage as we know it.
What is Ashtanga Yoga?- Overview of 8 limbs and their context as fields of practice.
Vinyasa- as a foundation for āsana and why we do the counted method.
Tristhāna- three tools for focusing the mind.
Breath- how do we breathe in Āsana and in Prānāyāma.
Āsana- context in Yoga and as a daily practice tool.
Cikitsa, Rakshana and Shikshana- Yoga as a tool for healing, maintenance and extraordinary capacity in your life.
Learning “the count” - the what, why and how behind the traditional counted method of Ashtanga Yoga.
